Cesar Montano ‘no comment’ on controversy with Maria Ozawa
MANILA, Philippines – Cesar Montano chose not to comment about Maria Ozawa’s recent interview in the podcast program “Good Times With DJ Mo.”
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry to disappoint you pero nandito po ako para makiramay,” said Cesar when asked to comment about the issue, Philippine Entertainment Portal reported. The actor was present at the wake of director Wenn Deramas.
In Ozawa’s interview on Monday, she claimed having a tryst with Cesar Montano, who she starred with in the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Nilalang.”
However, the Japanese adult video star explained that in the video that circulated online, the part where she clarified that her statement was a joke was “edited.”
She personally apologized to Cesar for the “hassle” that her interview has caused the actor.
On Friday, Ozawa posted a quote on ruining a person.
“Lesson learned, never joke around with sensitive topics,” she said on the caption.
