Xian, Kim talk about their journey as love team

MANILA, Philippines – Xian Lim and Kim Chiu are about to offer something new to their fans as they star in the ABS-CBN primetime series “The Story of Us.”

Both as love team have been together since 2011 in their first primetime series “My Binondo Girl.”

Since then, their tandem has gained a lot of following and was known as “KimXi.”

“Siguro sa mga nanonood sa amin, iniisip nila from 2011 what a long journey. We’ve been through so much, yes, a part of that is true but para sa akin I think nagsisimula pa lang kami,” said Xian about their team up, in the video released by Star Cinema.

The Kapamilya actor explained that despite the several projects they’ve done both for TV and film, he believes that “there are many things that they have to see pa about me, about Kim which is hindi pa nila nakikita.”

On the other hand, Kim said the TV series is just in time for her tenth year here in the industry.

As she took on “more mature” roles starting with the film “Etiquette for Mistresses,” Kim is ready to take that route also with her love team with Xian.

“Siguro I’m just blessed and siguro lucky na mabigyan ako ng chance every year to prove myself to a lot of people,” she said.

In the end, Xian asked the public to “give our show a chance,” while Kim thanked everyone who supported her and her love team with Xian.
