Jasmine Curtis-Smith unaffected by Erwan Heussaff viral photo issue

MANILA, Philippines - Jasmine Curtis-Smith is unfazed by the controversy involving her and Erwan Heussaff, the boyfriend of her sister Anne Curtis- Smith.

Last month, a viral photo of Jasmine and Erwan circulated on social media. The photo, which shows Jasmine and Erwan hugging each other, was taken negatively by many.

Anne already broke her silence about the issue, saying the photo is a "non-issue."

"Hindi talaga ako affected sa issue," replied Jasmine when asked if she's affected by the issue, in an interview on Tuesday.

The Kapatid actress said she understands why the people reacted that way since "the screenshot, not the entire video taken, it could be interpreted in so many ways."

Since the issue surfaced, Jasmine said that her relationship with her sister and Erwan was not affected at all.

Although she has been called by different "hurtful" things, Jasmine doesn't let the negative comments affect her.

"I don't know them personally, they don't know me personally so I don't let them affect me," she explained.

Jasmine is part of TV5's upcoming TV series "Ang Panday," where she's one of the leading ladies of Richard Gutierrez who will play the titular role.

"Ang Panday" will start airing on February 28, 8:30 p.m. on TV5.
