‘Pangako Sa ‘Yo’ tops Google’s most searched TV shows

MANILA, Philippines – Three Kapamilya shows made it to the top 5 of Google’s most-searched TV shows in 2015.

In the annual trend list of the search engine, it was “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” that topped the list. The primetime show stars Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. It is a remake of the 2000’s TV series which starred Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales.

Number two in the list is GMA’s Korean series “Empress Ki,” followed by the noontime show “Eat Bulaga!.”

On the fourth and fifth spots are two more Kapamilya shows, the primetime series “On the Wings of Love” which stars Nadine Lustre and James Reid, and “Your Face Sounds Familiar” hosted by Billy Crawford.

Also in the list are “The Voice Kids Philippines” which landed on the sixth spot, “Game of Thrones” on the seventh, followed by “My Love from the Star” and lastly “The Voice Philippines” on the tenth spot. - Joyce Jimenez
