Pastillas Girl's mom tells bashers: Please don't judge my daughter
MANILA, Philippines – The mother of Angelica Yap, popularly known as the Pastillas Girl, took the "It's Showtime” stage to defend her daughter against bashers.
On the Tuesday, September 29 episode of the ABS-CBN noontime variety show, Yap admitted she felt hurt over the criticism hurled against her daughter on social media.
This also comes after reports surfaced that Gabriela requested the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board to investigate "It' Showtime,” claiming the show is guilty of "exploitation of women" over its "Nasaan Ka Mr. Pastillas" segment.

She added: "Sana, nakikiusap ako, kilalanin muna nila ako.
Yap added it came to a point when she contemplated on asking her daughter to quit "It's Showtime" and its "Nasaan Ka Mr. Pastilla" segment.

"Napakasakit para sa akin. May time na nagiiyakan kami. Wala na akong magawa," she said. Wala namang perpekto."
When "It's Showtime" co-host Vice Ganda asked Yap if she still wants her daughter to continue, she said: "Ako, nakasuporta lang ako sa kanya. Nasa kanya yung desisyon.
