Jewel Mische ties the knot with American boyfriend
MANILA, Philippines - Jewel Mische has sealed her romance with her long-time American boyfriend.
The actress married Alister Kurzer in the US last weekend. The 24-year-old celebrity took to her Instagram account to share about her wedding.
"Family and Friends, wherever in the world you are, thank you..in whatever language or way you wish to greet and celebrate with us..thank you!! We love you," she said on her social media account.
Jewel, who entered showbiz via the GMA-7 reality talent show "Starstruck" and starred in a number of ABS-CBN shows, also shared photos of their wedding via social media.
Jewel got engaged to Alister in December 2013. She revealed her engagement to the press in October 2014.
In a previous TV interview, Jewel, who was previously romantically linked to actor Richard Gutierrez and ABS-CBN actor Jason Abalos, said she and Alister vowed not to engage in any sexual activity before their wedding.
"We believe that sexual intercourse or the physical and emotional union of two people should be a means of celebrating love, producing children and experiencing pleasure together protected by the commitment of marriage," Jewel said in a TV interview last November.
The two will have a second wedding ceremony in the Philippines later this year.
