Piolo on Valentine’s movie with Sarah: I think it’s not the right project

MANILA, Philippines - Piolo Pascual said his reported movie with Sarah Geronimo may not push through.
It was reported last year that Piolo and Sarah will star in a Valentine’s movie this year under Star Cinema.
The project would have been the actor’s follow-up movie to his successful 2014 movie “Starting Over Again.”
But during his press launch as an endorser for Silka Papaya Soap on Tuesday, Piolo said they have not started shooting for the reported movie.
“I can’t speak about that kasi hindi pa sila nagpi-pitch ulit... With the recent developments, parang hindi na yata tuloy yung Sarah but I cannot speak for Star Cinema,” he said.
Piolo also said: “May ibang concerns ang Star Cinema, e. Sila ang magde-decide kung matutuloy, e. So dapat February (ang release), hindi kami natuloy nung December (for shooting). So I can’t speak for them,” he said.
The actor explained he will have meeting with Star Cinema next week to talk about his next movie project.
However, he said it’s likely that he may not be paired with Sarah for his new movie.
“Baka hindi with Sarah. Baka si mommy Divine (Geronimo, Sarah’s mother),” Piolo quipped.
But the ABS-CBN star still would want to work with the singer-actress in the future.
“Of course, I want to work with Sarah,” he said. “But I think it’s not the right project.”
