Rachelle Ann Go admits dating Slater Young

MANILA, Philippines – Years after her last showbiz relationship, it looks like Rachelle Ann Go is back in the dating game.

In an interview with the entertainment press on Monday, January 13 to promote her upcoming concert “Miss Rachelle,” the Kapuso artist admitted she is dating “Pinoy Big Brother” winner Slater Young.

Rachelle Ann said she has been dating with Slater since October of last year.

The 27-year-old singer has been romantically linked to a couple of personalities since her breakup with John Prats in 2011. However, this is the first time she confirmed reports about her love life.

But Rachelle Ann sets one thing straight: she knows her priority is still her career—namely, her upcoming 12-month stint in London’s West End as Gigi Van Tranh in the revival of the stage musical “Miss Saigon.”

The Kapuso artist will leave for London this March for the said project.

“Happy naman ako sa nangyayari ngayon. Yun lang, kailangan alam ko naman yung priorities ko,” the “Sunday All-Stars” mainstay said

Rachelle Ann said she’s happy everything that’s happening in her life right now. “Wala na akong mahihiling sa ngayon,” she said. But when it comes to her love life, she would rather not have any expectations.

“Kung ano yung mangyayari, mangyayari naman. At maraming pwedeng mangyari doon sa London,” she said. “After 14 months, let’s see kung makapaghintay kung sino ang maghihintay.”

Did she and Slater talk how their set-up will be once Rachelle Ann leaves for London?

“Basta, lagi kong sinasabi, ‘Naku, aalis ako. Kung liligawan mo ako, mahirap yan!’ Tignan natin, d’yan na rin natin makikita yung sincerity ng isang tao, kung kayo talaga para sa isa’t isa. Test na rin yun,” she said.

Meanwhile, Rachelle Ann is currently preparing for her send-off concert this February 22 at the Meralco Theater.
