Iza not a good girl in upcoming tele-serye

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines- Iza Calzado is happy that a series of projects are in store for her  this year.

First of  these projects is her long-awaited “Biggest Loser II,” which she says will air at the end of this month.

Next up is her project with Bea Alonzo, “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon,” where she will play the role of Dina Bonnevie’s daughter.

“Okay naman ang pagbati ng 2014. Puno ng surpresa!” she  said during a recent interview.

She’s  also that while a  tele-serye project “You’re My Home”, which were supposedly topbilled by s Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta,  was dropped,  another project was offered to her.

“Ito nga, unang proyekto ko nga sa kanila [Dreamscape],” she relates. “Siguro sabi nila, ‘hindi ka namin pababayaan. Bibigyan ka namin ng pagkakataon.’ Ako po ay grateful dahil itong 2014 trabaho agad ang sumalubong sa akin.”

Iza says she’s excited with this project, especially since she will be playing a  character that is different from those that she usually plays.

“It’s good kasi I’ve been wanting a role na kakaiba,” she said describing her role. “So ang character ko dito mas may spunk, medyo may mas kamalditahan, makikita ninyo ‘yong aking mas palaban siguro na side. It’s gonna be exciting for me kasi nga it’s something new.”

Iza is  also  obviously happy with her long-time boyfriend Ben Wintle.

But no matter how exciting their relationship may be,  the Kapamilya actress says tying the knot is not yet in their plans.

She added  that they both would want to focus first on their careers, and will exchange “I do’s” at a “perfect time” of their lives.
