LJ Reyes happy for Paulo Avelino, KC Concepcion

MANILA, Philippines – “Kung talagang nagde-date sila, I’m happy for them.”

Thus said actress LJ Reyes about the recent news that Paulo Avelino and KC Concepcion are currently dating in a taped interview with GMA-7’s showbiz talk show “Startalk” aired Saturday, Nov. 9.

Last week, the Kapamilya actor revealed he is seeing Concepcion. Meanwhile, the Kapamilya actress admitted she is indeed dating Paulo, but not exclusively.

LJ said she is happy for Paulo and KC because she does not see anything wrong with them dating.  

“Wala naman pong masama dun. Kung saan po sila happy, magiging happy din po ako,” the Kapuso star said.

Paulo and LJ recently admitted that they are no longer together after several months of speculation about their relationship.

The 25-year-old actress told STAR entertainment editor and “Startalk” co-host Ricky Lo that she and Paulo have broken up around one year ago.

LJ has a child with Paulo, the three-year-old Ethan Aiko.

When it was first reported that LJ and Paulo have indeed split, it was alleged that the Kapamilya actor attempted suicide — a news that Paulo immediately denied.

“Sa pagkakakilala ko kay Paulo, I don’t think kaya niyang gawin yun,” she said of the news. “At sinabi naman niya sa mga interviews niya na hindi, hindi niya ginawa.”

Is there a chance for them to reconcile since they have a child together? LJ asked: “It’s very hard to say kasi nag-try naman po kami. Sino naman po ang ayaw ng buong pamilya.”

“Lahat po ng effort, nagawa ko. Sino naman pong nanay yung hindi gagawin ang lahat para hindi mabigyan ng buong pamilya ang anak mo,” she added.
