Celebrities react to Napoles probe

MANILA, Philippines - Aside from the super typhoon hitting the Visayas and Mindanao region, another issue that Filipinos are closely monitoring is Janet Lim-Napoles’ Senate appearance.

Since the pork barrel scam came out on the public, every Filipino citizen followed this saga and became more critical in every politician’s move and statements.

So now that Napoles finally appeared before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee today, Nov. 7, what do celebrities have to say? Here are some of their tweets.

Among the celebrities closely monitoring the hearing is Maxene Magalona. She even told her followers who reminded her to calm down, “One more time someone asks me to relax, chill or "kalma lang," please lang. DON'T. We should all feel strongly about this issue. #Napoles”

A prayer is what Christian Bautista asked from his followers regarding the pork barrel scam.

Pokwang seemed disappointed on how Napoles responded in the earlier part of the hearing. In her tweet she said:

Bianca Gonzales, on the other hand, stated her observation between Napoles and the whistle-blower Benhur Luy.

While writer, TV and radio host Ogie Diaz used sarcasm in expressing his thoughts on the Napoles hearing.
