Haribon Foundation holds Biodiversity Rocks

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Haribon Foundation in cooperation with Hard Rock Café will be having a concert tomorrow, Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. at Hard Rock Café, Makati. The concert will have Itchyworms, Rita de Guzman, Aia de Leon, Ebe Dancel and with the special appearance of Bogart The Explorer.

Haribon and Victoria Court, one of the companies supporting the foundation’s advocacies, are working together to promote environmental awareness and foster public attention for the protection and conservation of the country’s natural resources.

Through this event, everyone is encouraged to realize not only their responsibility to care for the environment, but also become agents for change.

The Philippine forests are in a state of degradation and it is urgent that Filipinos act and act now. Bringing back the forests will ensure continued ecological services and help prevent the natural disasters that plague the country.

Biodiversity Rocks! will promote Haribon’s flagship campaign that is ROAD to 2020 (Rainforestation Organization and Advocates), a movement to restore the Philippine rainforests using native tree species.

Plus, get the chance to show your commitment to environmental sustainability further by adopting more seedings for our forests.

Come out and rock with us. Please forward, share and spread the word of this movement toward a sustainably rainforested country.

(Tickets are available at the Hard Rock Café at Glorietta III Ayala Center in Makati or the Haribon Foundation Main Office at 2/F Santos & Sons Building, 973 Aurora Blvd., Quezon City or Victoria Court branches (Pasig, Malate, Gil Puyat and North Edsa) and Best Western La Corona, M.
