Dingdong OKs Marian’s sexy FHM cover pictorial

Aside from the A-list photographer Mark Nicdao, the first man who saw Marian Rivera’s sexy cover pictorial for the current issue of FHM was, you guessed it, her boyfriend Dingdong Dantes.

“He liked the pictures,” said Marian who is, compared to the other more daring/baring FHM cover girls, just partially exposed, her boldest pose being in a pair of bikinis.

Marian has figured prominently among the Top 10 of the magazine’s annual list of Sexiest Women in the Philippines, at No. 1 in 2008, but it’s only now that she agreed to (finally, finally!) pose for the cover.

“Why only now? Because those behind the magazine told me that it’s for their special anniversary issue,” explained Marian. The issue also features sex “icons” like Maui Taylor, Francine Prieto, Aubrey Miles, Jana Victoria, Andrea del Rosario, Paloma, Sheree (with the consent of her beloved Gian Magdangal), Katya Santos, Daiana Menezes, Ornusa Cadness, Regine Angeles and others who fail to distract the attention from Marian even if they bare more skin.

“I was told that a lot of readers have been wondering why I still wasn’t doing the cover,” added Marian. “And it was because I wasn’t ready yet. This time, I’m giving it to them. Buo na ang loob ko.”

Asked in the FHM interview if she would agree to a second landing on the cover, Marian dared, “Why not? I’m not closing my door to anything because doing magazine covers is not new to me. I also wear bathing suits in those shoots.”

Would she still do it at 40 (like Dina Bonnevie who did it at past-40)?

“How will I answer that? I’m sure when I’m 40 I would be married with kids so I would also have to think about my husband and the children…”
