David to Pnoy: Solve Sabah crisis first

MANILA, Philippines - Ang Kapatiran party's senatorial aspirant Lito David believes that the country's most urgent challenge is the territorial dispute over Sabah.

David, who had criticized President Benigno Aquino III's approach on the issue, said that it entails knowledge of the conviction of the Filipino Muslim clan insisting on their claim on the land.

"It appears that the president does not understand what the issue is all about," David said in an exclusive interview with Philstar.com.
