Kaye Abad and Paul Jake Castillo’s first kiss as husband and wife
CEBU, Philippines - Kaye Abad and Paul Jake Castillo exchanged wedding vows yesterday at San Pedro Calungsod Chapel in Cebu, with the blushing bride walking down the aisle at 4 p.m.
The actress, 34, donned a Francis Libiran gown while his groom, 31, was dapper in a white suit. Paul Jake entered the venue with Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” as background music. Kaye, for her part, walked the aisle with Coldplay’s “Yellow” for her bridal march.
In videos shared on social media, Kaye was seen shedding tears as Paul Jake greeted her parents before the ceremony began.
Among the celebrities spotted in the occasion were Patrick Garcia and his wife Nikka, actresses Kitkat, Nikki Valdez, Camille Prats and Sue Ramirez, former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Vickie Rushton and comedian Pooh.
The wedding reception was held at Radisson Blu Hotel.
Kaye and Paul Jake first met on the set of ABS-CBN’s “Precious Hearts Romances Presents Alyna” in 2010. They started out as buddies who witnessed each other’s romantic relationships with their respective partners then.
Four years after they met, the two became a couple on April 2014. The businessman from Cebu popped the question to Kaye last May, a month after their second anniversary as sweethearts. (FREEMAN)
