Meet the cast of MMFF entry ‘Pedro Calungsod' at SM City Cebu

CEBU, Philippines - Experience a star-studded weekend at SM City Cebu this Sunday, Oct 6. Meet the cast of the movie “Pedro Calungsod: Batang Martir” at the Event Centre. A Francis Villacorta film, the movie tells a story of a young Visayan saint who was martyred in the name of his Christian faith. It is an official entry to the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival. Pedro Calungsod is portrayed by actor Rocco Nacino who accepted the role as he’s looking forward to new learnings and an opportunity to play someone who is special in the lives of many Filipinos. The GMA-7 actor had previously portrayed the same role for a GMA News and Public Affairs documentary. The film won’t entirely be just about Calungsod’s martyrdom but will also tackle he played in the San Diego Mission at the Marianas Islands (Guam) led by Father Diego de San Vitores.

Cast members joining Nacino in the Cebu mall show are Johan Santos, Perry Escano, Joselito Riguerra, Alvin Aragon, Carlo Gonzalez, Arthur Solinap, BJ Forbes, Joshua Trivino, Robert Correa, Ryan Eigenmann, Christian Vasquez, and Nacino. See all of them live this Sunday, 2pm at the Event Centre in SM City Cebu.
