Ex-Pangasinan vice mayor dies of heart attack
CALASIAO, Pangasinan, Philippines – The former vice mayor of this town died of a heart attack yesterday.
Ferdinand Galang, who reportedly had hypertension, was found dead in his room at his residence in Barangay Mancup.
Scene of the Crime Operatives ruled out foul play.
Galang resigned last January supposedly to migrate abroad. Councilor Mahadeva Das Mesina replaced him.
Meanwhile, a councilor of San Carlos City also in Pangasinan died in a road accident on Friday night.
Gerardo Garillo was driving his motorcycle on his way home when he collided with another in Barangay Palaming. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital.
Garillo would have been 52 on April 5.
