Greg Slaughter posibleng matagalan pa bago makalaro

MANILA, Philippines - Nakakapagdomina sa shaded lane si Best Import Allen Durham ng Meralco sa kanilang championship series ng Barangay Ginebra para sa 2016 PBA Governor’s Cup.

Ang hinahanap ng mga libu-libong fans ng Gin Kings ay ang presensya ni seven-foot center Greg Slaughter.

Sa kasamaang palad ay hanggang sa telebisyon lamang masusuportahan ni Slaughter ang kanyang koponan.

“Sad I won’t get to watch this finals series live, but that only means I’ll be cheering and suppor-ting the team on TV. We got this guys! #NSD,” sabi ni Slaughter sa kanyang Twitter account na @GWillSlaughter.

Naging matagumpay ang surgery ni Dr. George Canlas kay Slaughter noong Biyernes ukol sa kanyang ACL injury.

“It’s time for me to rest and get ready to come back better than ever,” sabi ni Slaughter.

Inaasahang sasailalim ang dating Ateneo Blue Eagle sa rehabilitation at therapy at muling iuupo ang darating na PBA Philippine Cup.

“It was obvious that he needed surgery,” sabi ni coach Tim Cone kay Slaughter. “So we needed to get that swelling down before he really got it.”

Posibleng makabalik sa line-up ng Ginebra ang four-year pro sa PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
